South Texas Area Runners, Riders and Swimmers Fallen STARR Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Applicants must:

Participate in an organized team sport within the Intercollegiate Athletic Department
Be a full‐time undergraduate
Have a cumulative 3.0 GPA
Demonstrate financial need
Be a high school graduate from one of the listed counties: Nueces, Kleberg, San Patricio, Live Oak, Jim Wells, Bee, Kennedy, Brooks, Duval, Aransas or Refugio
Not already be on a full athletic scholarship

Must reapply
Student must maintain a 3.0 GPA

William and Lyell Snyder Memorial Endowed Scholarship in Marine Science

Applicants must:

Demonstrate financial need
Preference given to students who have come from a family with four or more children or whose family has two or more children in college during the scholarship year

Renewed annually if student‘s family has two more children in college during the scholarship year

Frances K. Snyder Scholarship Endowment

Applicants must:

Must be a U.S. citizen
Must be full‐time

This scholarship funds the Mechanical Engineering Scholarships

Linda B. Smith Environmental Scholarship for Women

Applicants must:

Be female
Maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA at TAMUCC
Submit an essay about environmental commitment

Student must maintain a 2.5 GPA

Donald St. John Smith Scholarship Endowment

Does not renew

Leslie Simon Scholarship Endowment

Applicant must:

Be a full‐time undergraduate
Minimum 3.0 GPA

Does not renew

Sigma Theta Tau Endowed Scholarship in Nursing

Applicants must:

Be a full‐time or parttime student
Have been admitted to the nursing program
Maintain a minimum 3.25 GPA at TAMUCC
Submit a letter of recommendation from a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Eta Omicron Chapter
Express in writing an intent to work in Texas after graduation

Nina Sicking Memorial Scholarship

Applicants must:

Be working towards an MSN Family Nurse Practitioner Degree
Be a full‐time student
Live in Matagorda, Wharton, Jackson, or Brazoria counties

The A.C. and Ende Canales Si Se Puede Endowed Scholarship in Education and Nursing

Applicants must:

Have graduated in the top 25% of their high school class
Be a resident and high school graduate of Laredo, Texas
Complete the Undergraduate or Graduate University Scholarship Application

Student must maintain a 3.0 GPA

Kathleen Williams Sherwood Memorial Scholarship

Applicants must:

Be an undergraduate or graduate student pursing a degree and a certification as a teacher
Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 at TAMUCC
Be a non‐traditional or returning student

Must reapply
Student must maintain a 3.0 GPA

Joseph and Ruth Sheinberg Scholarship Endowment

This scholarship funds the Honors Program Scholarships. Students must submit the Honors Program scholarship Application.

Applicants must:

Be a full‐time student athlete
Demonstrate financial need
Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 at TAMUCC

To ensure Texans have access to the most updated and accurate information, relevant content from the College for All Texans website is being moved to My Texas Future. This move allows My Texas Future to serve as a one-stop hub for college and career planning, consolidating valuable tools, information, and guidance into a single, user-friendly format.

Fifth Year Accounting Scholarship

FAFSA Disclosure and More

Students applying for additional scholarships are encouraged to submit a FAFSA each academic year. Students who are unable to meet the enrollment requirements due to limits set by their academic program, graduation, course offerings, approved disability accommodations, or other circumstances beyond the student’s control may submit a Scholarship Enrollment Exception Form for consideration.
